As I sit here admiring this amazingly gorgeous weather, I thought of you and how grateful I am for that big, beautiful tent we had last weekend. Getting that tent kind of served as insurance that the weather wouldn’t be as horrific as it was supposed to be that weekend. And it worked perfectly!
The night before the party was crazy, but Saturday really was mostly rain free! We had a couple hours between 7:00 and 9:00 pm where I had to keep them out of the pool in case of lightning. But that was it. Yea, a little rain, but nobody cared at all. Cuz we had a tent! What a sense of security your tent gave us. We went from devastated about the impending weather to “bring it on!!”
